Discussion on Work
Introduction
The Discussion on Work tool facilitates collaborative learning by enabling students to submit their work and engage in structured peer discussions. Students can hand in individual or group submissions and participate in meaningful discussions about their peers' work, guided by prompts set by the instructor. Teachers can customize settings such as deadlines, peer allocation, and evaluation criteria to align with their learning goals.
A complete Discussion on Work activity will consist of the following default steps:
- Instructions - Written instructions for students to follow that can optionally contain attached video, audio, screen share, and files.
- Submission - Students hand in their deliverable for the assignment.
- Peer Discussion - Students are paired with their peers to discuss each other's work.
- Open Discussion - Students can participate in a full-course open discussion on each other's work.
