Comprehension
Introduction
The Comprehension tool is unique in that it can support documents, images, video, and other types of media. Instructor will configure "Topics" that students will answer by connecting their answer to the appropriate topic. Student answers can include text, audio, video, screen recording, and document attachments.
A complete Comprehension activity will consist of the following default steps:
Instructions - Written instructions for students to follow that can optionally contain attached video, audio, screen share, and files.
Comprehension - In the Comprehension step, students open the media uploaded by the instructor— this may be a document, video, or audio file. Students interact directly with the material by responding to the topics the instructor created. Topics act as prompts or focal points, guiding students on what to pay attention to as they engage with the content.
Depending on the media type, students can:
- Leave annotations on documents.
- Add timestamped comments on videos.
- Submit responses directly connected to each topic.
