Answer Top Hat Questions: Assignments

Your instructor may assign course material for you to review and complete outside of class. Read below to learn how to complete assigned Top Hat content using a web browser, or Top Hat's mobile app.

Complete Assignments with a Web Browser

Step 1

Log into app.tophat.com (opens in new tab).

Step 2

Enter the desired course. If you have not yet joined the Top Hat course, please visit our Join a Top Hat Course help page for instructions.

Step 3

Select the Content tab along the course header. Any assigned course material will be listed in the content tree on the left. Assigned material may be kept within a folder, which will expand when selected.

Step 4

Choose an item to bring it up in the preview pane.

Complete Assignments with the Top Hat - Better Learning Mobile App

Step 1

Log into the Top Hat - Better Learning mobile app, available for iOS and Android.

Step 2

Enter the desired course. If you have not yet joined the Top Hat course, please visit our Join a Top Hat Course help page for instructions.

Step 3

Select the Assigned tab at the bottom of the screen. Any assigned items will be listed in the main body of the screen.

Step 4

If the assigned items are kept within a folder, select the folder to reveal them, or select Unanswered on the screen header.
